Leadership is an essential component of achieving sustainability. For me leadership is the ability to create a positive impact on any situation understanding the limitations and contradictions of the world and yourself. If you are interested in my thoughts on leadership please read my latest discussion paper on the subject. This introductory lecture for an MSc Sustainable Leadership may also be of interest. This page highlights three areas where I have taken a leadership role. I also highlight a leadership training programme that I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a participant in and that I continue to draw inspiration from.
Founder and lead facilitator at Kellow Learning / Head of Leadership and Learning LEAD International (2006-2012)
"Greg is an extremely valuable member of the LEAD network, because he brings academic excellence and direct experience of working with communities, governance and sustainability. In addition Greg has impressive leadership skills and self-awareness, which is why he is able to engage with people from different sectors and cultures with ease. What impressed, and continues to impress me about Greg, is his modesty, his ability to bring an open mind to a situation or topic, and his enthusiasm for learning from and with other people".
