Sufings Dirty Secrets

I recently worked with the BBC to advise on and then subsequently feature in  a new documentary that explores some of the negative side effects of the multibillion pound surfing industry.  The documentary also highlights some of the positive steps that surfers, the general public and industry can take to improve sustainability

The documentary follows the journey of journalist Claire Marshall as she finds her way back to surfing after a lengthy period of time out of the water after a surfing accident.  But this time Claire is reflecting on the activity of surfing and the industry that surrounds it.

I also discussed the documentary live on:

BBC Breakfast, TV

BBC News, TV

BBC Scotland, Radio
